[If anyone's traveling in the vicinity of House 26, they might take notice of the little garden that's steadily been popping up outside over the past few weeks. Even if it's just another garden at first glance, today one of the residents is kneeling outside in the dirt attempting to change that. In the midst of a patch of what looks like mundane dasies, the round-faced, slightly dirty Neville is settled, brow furrowed in concentration, as he prods at the flowers with his newly-found wand. He's mumbling fiercely under his breath, presumably to the flowers themselves. Feel free to interrupt, Luceti. He won't bite.]

[If Neville suddenly gets the feeling of being watched, it's because Terra's off to the side. She was out for a stroll when his wand-work was noticed, and got her curious. At the moment, she's trying to decide whether or not to speak up, or leave him be. Social awkwardness at its finest.]

[Neville's eyes remained fixed on his work for a while longer, but a general unease has him peeking out into the the distance every so often. He spots Terra after she'd been watching him for a bit, hand clenching a bit more tightly around his wand.]

[Terra takes an instant step back, looking sheepish.]

[She glances down to the flowers.]

That looks just weird enough in a place like this that Yuzu stops to try and figure out what he's doing.]

[There's nothing weird about it! Silly Muggle. Though it might be more impressive if the things he's trying were showing any visible signs of having worked.

She's picked a bad place to stop, though. She's found the sunlight, and the sudden shadow she's cast has Neville jumping, then feeling silly about having done so. He stands, offering a feeble smile.] Good morning, Miss.

[Takato pauses at the odd sight and watches for a moment.]

[Neville looks up from his work, smiling pleasantly at the boy. Probably a first-year by the size of him. Aww.] If you wanted to help, I don't see why not. How have you been getting on with practicing your charms?

[passes by and squats down nearby to look at the daisies then at Neville, wondering what the boy is doing. Perhaps the daisies will tell him?]

[Neville's trying to create some Dittany and has been trying to work a good mixture of charms to give the daisies similar properties. Though Neville's never literally heard flowers talk, so he's not sure what the daisies would have to say about that. He smiles politely at the stranger.] Well hello there.

[Well, the daisies seems to say something about how Neville's been poking them with that strange stick and mumbling strange things to them.]

Hello. What are you doing to the daisies? [Coz you'd better not have been hurting any kind of plant life]

[Walking, walking, walking... Wait. She'll slow to a near-stop, watching the boy poke at the dirt. After a moment, she turns to step once toward him.] Would you like some help?

[So many new faces today! Neville's not entirely sure how to handle it all, but is completely determined to squash the instinct to blush and try hiding. Instead, he stands to greet her at her level.] I don't think it would hurt! Are you good with casting charms?

Charms? [Ah, that's a wand she spies. He must be a friend of that girl Hermione's, she explained everything when they met up not long ago.] I'm afraid not, but if you think magic would help, I've got a couple of things I might be able to try?

[because I clearly don't bother you enough...>>;...snerk. Bored Draco-troll is bored and feels like trolling, so soon there will be a coyote pup patronus wandering away from house 25 and stalking through the garden-in-progress. After all, Padfoot likes to pretend he's a wild beast sometimes.

And Draco? Well he's just going to stay inside his house, in his bedroom, and watch from his window because it's fun terrorizing Gryffindors.]

[GOD Ty, GTFO. Well there's a very obvious and corporeal patronus that doesn't belong to any DA member he knows. Did Harry start up a new branch here? Why hadn't he mentioned?? He gives it an oddly bemused look and smiles gently.] Well, hello. You're a new face, aren't you? [Though he's surreptitiously glancing around for the caster.]

[...SOB. Padfoot stops as soon as Neville starts speaking to him, sitting on the ground and staring up at him. He gives him a thorough once-over before yipping as an answer. NEW FACE. This is obviously important to Padfoot the derp-tronus. Draco's just going to make sure he's far out of the way of being seen, observing this. Because. PAdfoot always gets along with the Gryffindorks, what the hell.

Meanwhile Padfoot's going to do a barrelroll through the garden.]

[Having gotten an insane case of cabin fever while she was shut up at home, Hermione's taken to walking outside. She spots Neville pretty easily and walks nearer to admire his work.]

You and Luna are really putting a lot into this garden, aren't you?

[Neville beams proudly at the sound of Hermione's voice.] Thanks, Hermione! I know there's not a lot else I can do to help out the way things are... Figured I could at least make sure we have a good store of supplies.

[Harry is fascinated by the plants growing around the house, and while things are weird with Neville right now, Harry would at least like to see it.]

How are they coming along?

They'll be fully grown in a month or so, I'd wager. [Neville murmurs absently before turning his head to meet Harry properly] Best I can do with the resources here. [This is Neville deliberately not touching any of the more sensitive subjects.]
