Sixth Seed; [Action]

[Now, normally when people get back from a kidnapping, they take time to get themselves to the clinic. At the very least, they stop at home long enough to say "ow" to a roommate and pass out for a few days to sleep off the more personalized experimentation.

Neville's unconcerned with that for the moment, though. He's had worse injuries in his time, and it's not too difficult to get around with an eye swollen shut. Sure, his frame had grown rather thin again, almost as underfed as it had been when he'd first gotten to Luceti, but there were some people out there who would've rather enjoyed something like that. And the bleeding isn't entirely unbearable, just some aggravated scratches best left hidden under his robes anyway. It was nothing he couldn't either endure or treat later, when there was time to deal with lesser matters. At the moment, he's more concerned with making his way to the center of town and sliding into the flower shop. He'll do his best to be unobtrusive around whatever night owls are prowling around Luceti, though he'll probably be more easy to approach in the morning, once he's cleaned himself up a bit. Feel free to poke him whenever, though. Neville's not one to turn down company, welcome or not.]

[Draco Malfoy counts as a night person, and so it's no surprise he's out and about the village at this time of night. However, he's happy to blend into the shadows and watch because really, who the bloody hell buys flowers this late in the day? Super-sleuthing is on and he's starting to inch closer to spy.

Being a pseudo-Gryffindor sometimes really is kind of a pain.]

[Unfortunately, super-spy, Neville's a little on edge tonight. He hesitates slightly as he reaches for the door handle, casting a glance behind him. He could've sworn he'd just heard something.]

[And back to hiding! Go on, Longbottom, continue so Draco can stalk you from afar.]

[Well, it could have just as easily been a trick of the light or some woodland creature taking an excursion to the village. Though it might not be terribly interesting to watch Neville enter the shop and not exit. He'll probably have to be followed more thoroughly if Draco's looking to get anything out of this.]

[Merlin. Figures Malfoy'd be out and about when Neville wishes to encounter him the least. Since the Malnosso aren't keen on providing convenient mirrors, he's not entirely sure if he looks as injured as he feels, and he'd really rather not give Draco room to say anything particularly terrible today.]

It would be if I'd any interest in shopping. Why are you here?

Lack of anything more interesting. [At least he's honest.] Though you aren't exactly much more interesting either.

Then find something else to do. I've got matters to attend to which I don't think are very much your business. [Pseudo-Gryffindor or not, you are not one of his little potted babies, and that means you are less pressing than just about anything right about then.]

Most things aren't my business with you, but I ask anyway. [Draco would be the worst plant ever.] So. What is it?

[Draco would be an orchid. Those things are impossible to raise properly.] If you have to know, then wait. [He'll slip off into the rear of the shop for a period, returning with a potted bit of Devil's Snare that's only halfheartedly trying to snake around his wrist. Poor thing. :(]

[Orchids are very pretty though. He blinks at the order though and watches Longbottom go about his business, eyes widening in surprise at the Devil's Snare.]

Not getting enough mulch? No, I don't think it has been. [He's frowning studiously and reaching for a pair of gloves.]

[He blinks. Didn't Harry talk to Draco about any of the important things?] I've been breeding it for almost a year. [Although that does mean that this generation is identifiable by sight! Success!]

That's just because the poor dear's gone sickly while I've been away. It'll be fine again in a week or so.

Well they're certainly not things. They breathe and live just as much as you or I do. They just can't quite get into as many places.

I don't think Crabbe or Goyle could be accused of speaking or thinking much either, but that didn't stop you from becoming mates with them.
